Vehicle Information

The following basic material is entered about each vehicle. This information is used in performance calculations and simulations. Entering the basic vehicle information in one place is convenient and keeps you from having to repeatedly having to enter information about vehicle and conditions for every different calculation.

• Vehicle identification information: Manufacturer, model, style, year, color, ID number, configuration, engine, and comments
• Vehicle identification information can be included on reports
• Engine type (Piston/spark plug, diesel, or rotary)
• 2-stroke or 4-stroke
• Number of cylinders
• Automatic, manual, or no transmission. Any stall speed torque converter for automatic transmission.
• Torque converter stall speed
• Differential type (open, locked, limited slip, Torsen®, viscous, or none)
• Final drive gear ratio
• Front, rear, or four-wheel drive
• Torque split
• Type of front suspension
• Type of rear suspension
• Weather conditions
• Fuel type(s) and additives
