Piston Speed Calculation

The piston speed calculation indicates average piston speed and the exact speed at various crankshaft positions. The piston acceleration and piston position is also indicated along with piston velocity. The calculation features an adjustable step size, so you can view the piston speed, acceleration, and position change at any desired increment, from 1 degree to 90 degrees. Also shown are the rod-stroke ratio and the crankshaft angular velocity.

Piston Speed Calculation

Calculates piston speed based on stroke length, connecting rod length, and engine speed. A graph is provided so you can view the piston speed, acceleration, and position as they change during crankshaft rotation in a graphical form.
