Acceleration Plot

The Acceleration Plot is one of the display outputs of the acceleration simulation. For a tabular output format, see the acceleration table.

The simulation is based on the inputs from the acceleration input window.

As the simulation is running the numbers are displayed in real time. You can use the Speed adjuster to make it display in slow or fast motion if desired. After you stop the simulation, you can point to any position on the graph and examine the details. The displayed numbers follow the mouse in real time after the simulation stops.

The graphical and numeric displays include speed, distance, RPM, gear number or shifting, weight transfer, engine torque, drive wheel torque, and acceleration. The numeric displays also include elapsed and simulated time. Indicators are provided for wheel spin and engine redline.

Output can also be graphed or viewed in a data log viewer window.
