General

The program has been in development for over 15 years, during which time its accuracy, flexibility, coverage, and user-friendliness have been constantly improved.

Development team

The development team leader, Bryan D. Feldman, has over 20 years of professional C/C++ software development experience. He is an avid auto enthusiast and fan as well as an experienced fabricator, tuner, and driver. He has been involved in the project from the very beginning.

All other members of the development and testing team are also experienced automotive and computer enthusiasts.

Speed-Wiz is our only software product. We are very proud of our software and have made a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction. Because we are a small company and Speed-Wiz is our only software product, we are able to act immediately on requests and implement changes very quickly.

Programming language

The program is written entirely in the C++ programming language, a modern, object-oriented programming language used for today's most advanced applications from business applications to graphics programs to games.

Development tools

The program and its components are developed, tested and maintained using the software development industry's most robust and dependable tools. Speed-Wiz is written entirely in the C++ programming language, a modern, object-oriented programming language used for today's most advanced applications from business applications to graphics programs to operating systems.

Speed-Wiz 9.0 is built using Microsoft Visual Studio 8 and Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC). This is the first fully 32-bit version of Speed-Wiz! Previous versions were built using Borland C++ 5.0 and ObjectWindows Library (OWL).

Testing and QA software from various manufactures including CompuWare and Parasoft is also used.

Development techniques

We are constantly listening to feedback from our customers. We try to implement their suggestions for improvements and enhancements wherever possible. Unlike some other programs that never seem to change, we are always working on new functionality for the next release of our software.
